You don’t see perfection a whole lot. Kudos to the Auburn Tigers for making it a stellar 13–0 season. We’re proud of you boys, and it’s just a rotten shame that these kids put it all out there for 13 games, and don’t have even a shot at a national championship. I mean, a good 4 or 5 of these kids skipped going to the NFL so they could return as seniors and have a shot. And the saddest part is that they didn’t fail themselves, and they weren’t failed by coaching, or officiating, or weather, or anything that has remotely anything to do with football games. They were failed by the highly flawed ranking system in their sport.
