I’m sure you have all read this by now, but if you haven’t, do so.
This is an amazing story about creating a product out of love and pure geekiness. Tailgating into Apple to work on it is just icing on the cake.
This story, to me, kind of underscores the beginnings of the current state of open source. Not that the source was open, but that it was a collaborative, communinty project, born from a desire to do something, not from a desire to make money.
