Jeremy posted a pretty comprehensive list of ping services for your blog.  I looked at the list....and decided I really don't care if all these sites know I've updated.

So today he posted about Pingomatic, where Matt has taken the list and put in the most relevant (according to him) services and you can use that form to ping:

And more.  Nice.  Once you fill out the form, you get a nice querystring URL for bookmarking that you can just use later.
