this is why I really hate microsoft sometimes.  I'm trying to sign up for managed newsgroups, registration doesn't work in firefox.  So go to IE, and it wants me to add my passport to my XP account.  I don't want to fucking do that.  So it takes me to the passport page.  Why can't I just do it the normal way?  Why are you trying to force me to integrate an internet email account with my fucking domain user account?  Why won't you let it be and let me do it how I want?  Why does everything have to be so damn difficult when dealing with Microsoft all the time?

I swear, I love developing on Microsoft platforms, but everything else about them just really pisses me off sometimes.

I've vented.  I don't have access to the msdn managed newsgroups.  I WILL NOT associate my passport account with my XP account so I guess I'm going to go without.
