I've noticed something...not recently, I've noticed it since I started this blog, but it really hit me this week. I mentioned I had set up a new blog for most of my non-tech stuff. I was going to go with .Text since I now have SQL available to me, but once I finally got .Text set up on my local machine, I found out that the admin pages are broken. Oh, they are fine in IE, but I don't use IE, so to me they are broken.

That's a damn shame, considering that I was totally stoked to use .Text. I have heard so many goot things, and probably a good 80% of the blogs I read are .Text. But I won't stand for that whole "only workes in IE" bullshit. I have no use for such things.

Anyway, that's not my point. I ended up doing a dasBlog install for the new blog, just like this one. Then I posted from this one, tracking back the other one...and lo and behold...the trackback showed up on the blog! That has never happened to me before. I know for a fact people have tracked back to me, and it has never shown up. Those people (that I am aware of) were all .Text blogs. In addition, I have trackbacked a ton of people (not all .Text blogs) and have noticed that my trackbacks never show up with the others. I see all these trackbacks in .Text blog entries and I think "man...mine isn't there...as usual".

So what's the deal with this? I admit I'm kind of a n00b when it comes to the technology of blogging. Anyone offer some suggestions? Or am I going to have to dig into dasBlog and fix it my damn self?
